Last week, the ABC came to Beehive to film and interview Beehive Chef Linda Westacott and some of our service users about Beehive Industries' commitment to food security. 

Linda has been working with OzHarvest, utilizing their donated food to make culinary masterpieces for our service users every day.  Linda also utilizes OzHarvest food donations to provide our service users with extra food parcels for them to take home on a weekly basis. 

Additionally, Linda is able to prepare frozen meals that are provided to other charitable partners, such as Newtown-Erskineville Anglican Church and St Barnabas Anglican Church in Ultimo. 

Through this partnership, Beehive Industries and OzHarvest have been able to provide Sydney’s most vulnerable communities with food security and aid.

This Tuesday (29 November 2022), the ABC is launching the NSW Gives Appeal.  Donations will support OzHarvest in providing food support to organisations such as ourselves and plenty of others.
